Tengo una cita con el doctor próximamente. He visto a mi doctor sólo 3 veces.
I have a drs appointment coming up. I've seen my Dr only 3 times. All I've had done is a blood test. Not even a physical. I've notice several people see different doctors or have test ran to make sure they have no other infectious diseases or have happened to them. I'm asking for advice from people who have experience for the people Like my self who aren't asking the right questions or asking to have the right test done because we don't know what to ask.
Well first of all your infectious disease doctor should become your primary care physician. Have him run a thorough blood work test and that should tell him if there's anything wrong. Also discuss with him any maladies that you feel at this time. You don't need a specialist doctor , unless there is a problem. 💓💓💓
Same here @Un miembro de myHIVteam It has always been that way ever since having this insurance for decades. Mahalo Brother.
My BCBS insurance covers both a primary care physician and an Infectious disease doctor. They work together in coordinating my care. My primary care is the doctor who refers me to any other specialists I may need. Like when I had my right kidney extracted. I saw a urologist for that.
Your insurance should cover any primary care physician because most doctors have a specialty but they can all be a primary care physician for a patient. As far as the lump in your organs I would ask him again if he can refer an oncologist or urologist in your network. Some plans do require referral from your primary care physician especially if it's a specialty like urology. Good luck and please get that checked out 😁🤗🌈💓
@Un miembro de myHIVteam, it does make a difference when insurance (again depending on ones insurance) will only bill as primary or ID, but see them as both. The difference is in the bill one would pay.
