No estoy seguro de entender qué hace la PReP para evitar que una persona contraiga el VIH y qué hacen los medicamentos contra el VIH para reducir nuestra carga viral a "indetectable". I'm not sure I understand what PReP does that it prevents a person from contracting HIV and what HIV medications do to lower our viral load to "undetectable". I know undetectable means you still have virus in your system, but the virus amount is so little it cannot be detected by standard testing. My doctor told me he thought within 5 years there would be a cure. That was my first doctor five years ago. They are already in human trials for a vaccine. Dont lose hope this will be cured . I believe it will be. Hang in there

Its a thought question , what I can say is take the meds I not having no changes on my body or system , I feel so normal now and not even think about HIV anymore .
I was on PreP for 5 years and took it religiously, never missed a pill. Finding out about my diagnosis a few days ago felt like the dumbest joke anyone’s ever told me. Now i cant say ive really processed the whole coamic joke yet. But the thought of taking a different pill everyday, hasn’t been a a big worry.
Take the pills. It helps to read stories of people who do, and how they say it really works. Take the pill with something you love, coffee, tea, juice. It helps to make it feel like something good rather than poison.
I wake up at 6am and take mine with coffee, it’s forced me to wake up earlier than I’m used to and have a few moments to just sit and exist while having a good cup of coffee.
