I think you need to clarify with your bf exactly what they did. ...first of all you must relax cuz it appears that you have this apprehension about the medical community and doctors. They are not out to get us ..they are out to help us. Having said that there's various shots that a person with an immune suppress system may receive throughout the year. One being the pneumonia shot. The other being the flu shot. If there's some vaccinations that your bf has not received in the past. Again this is a personal relationship between your bf and his doctor if you like to share in it that's great but please allow the doctor and your bf to create a regiment that's suitable for him,... not everyone takes the same medications 😊😊😊👍❤️🌈

@Un miembro de myHIVteam It could have went either way to be honest. I'd let his medical situation work itself out. It's not about whether he knew, It's how you found out IMO. He still get's side eyes. If you can't trust him because of how you found out his and your status. I put to much energy in it. No offence to anyone, but HIV is a major infraction in a relationship. Hell yea, I'd be checking phones calling Dr and getting receipts. But I know that about me. I'd give yourself some time to see you can trust him at all let alone go to the DR office. But in his defense Bictarvy, Truvada and the other pills are hard to remember words. Heaven forbid the use medical names.

I appreciate everyones feedback. The bf is a very private person and I have trust issues…. Especially with this. I’m just not sure if he actually went to the doctor. I asked him what meds he was put on and he couldn’t remember. He then asked me what I was on and then said thats what they gave him. I have forgiven him for giving me HiV but I’m still bothered by it. I think he knew he had it but never did anything with it. He won’t go and tell his ex gf, which really bothers me. Especially because they’re still friends.

when first diagnosed, you get many shots. maybe not all at once but within the year you'll get tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis (these 3 usually given in 1 shot called TDAP), pneumonia (up to 3 or 4 in a several week periods), hepatitis A (up to 3 or 4 in a several week periods) Hepatitis B (depending on the med, from 1 to 4 in a several week periods), flu, covid (maybe booster shots in the future).
