Tengo mucho estigma en mi cabeza sobre cómo era el vih. Recuerdo en los años 90 lo horrible que era. Sé que ahora es mucho más manejable. Parece que no puedo superar todos mis viejos estigmas.

Quiero decir que el VIH/SIDA no es tan malo como la mayoría de la gente lo describe, pero ¿cómo sabrán si las personas VIH positivas tenemos miedo de difundir la información? Siento que si el mundo llega a verlo como algo normal (lo saludables que somos a pesar de viviendo con el virus), creo que eso los dejará sin nada a qué "señalar con el dedo" 😌

I mean HIV/AIDS isn't as bad as most people describe it,but how will they know if we HIV positive people are afraid of spreading the information.I feel if the world gets to see it as normal(how healthy we are despite living with the virus),I think that will leave them with nothing to 'finger-point' at😌

Estoy de acuerdo. La visibilidad es enemiga del estigma. Puedo vivir “fuera” sin preocupaciones, pero lamentablemente algunos no pueden.
I agree. Visibility is the enemy of stigma. I can live “out” without concerns, but unfortunately some can’t.
