I try to eat three meals a day, but do sometimes miss breakfast if I have worked late and are having an extra few hours in bed. so little has changed for me in terms of what I eat since becoming positive. However I try to make sure that I have a good amount of fruit and vegetables. I do snack, but tend to snack more if I am feeling low, so know I need to cut back on snacking so much. I find having three meals a day helps with my energy levels .
Mine is easy, start with being vegetarian, add in nothing deep fried, nothing canned / jarred & absolutely nothing with a commercial. Grow & dry your own herbs while skipping iodine salts.
last night before bed I had a huge piece of cheesecake with cherries on top and if that wasn't enough I had 3 huge peanut butter cookies and 3 chocolate kisses. omg
Growing up poor we had a huge truck patch. Twenty rows of corn. Forty to fifty tomato plants. Dozens of sweet potato plants with row upon row potatoes. Peppers and carrots. Every vegetable you can think of. In the winter if you was still hungry mom would open another jar of some vegetable. She canned bushels of peaches and applesauce. Eating vegetables were our snacks.
So getting my fill of veggies is easy. Dad taught us to eat ugly salad. That's every vegetable you can think of raw with raisins, walnuts, pineapple, dried cranberries and apples. With a boiled egg and lean ham. Ugly salad. So good.
I try to eat as many vegetables as possible. Not much of a fruit person, lol pun intended. I love to cook, so as such I do a lot of cooking for myself and friends. Find a cooking class at a local community center that is low cost. Cooking can be really fun when you get the hang of it and you have the ability to add the right amount of ingredients. If not a class, there are SO many cooking shows on TV that are fun to watch and very informative. You can also look online for the actual shows and other cooking blogs, etc
