¿Quién Ha Hecho Un Árbol Genealógico Y Hasta Dónde Se Ha Remontado?
Who Has Done A Family Tree And How Far Have You Gone Back.?
¿Alguien trabajando en un árbol genealógico? Me estoy tomando un tiempo fuera de este sitio para trabajar en uno. ¿Hasta dónde has retrocedido si has empezado uno?
Anybody working on a family tree? I am taking some time off this site to work on one. How far have you got back if you have started one? So far, I have got back to my great x 132 grandparents. Do you want me to list great 132 times so you can see what that looks like? LOL. I am ancestors to King's and Queen's of Denmark, Sweden, Finnland, Norway and Germany. I have a small royal line of princesses and princes of Great Britain, and am ancestors to King's and God's of Turkey. I guess when I tell… read more
Hey everyone;-) I've done the DNA Ancestry.com and 23andme.com plus I've utilized Heritage as well. Both DNA results came back almost exactly except a few minor differences, but minor such as who has the most hair etc. My Bloodline goes as far as King Louis XVI & Marie Antoinette. It is King Louis XVI Paternal Bloodline that I'm directly linked to. Amazing, thats why I had taken the DNA twice.
I, too can tell them to kiss my royal ass. I did that for my mother for her birthday one year before she died. I used ancestry.com for their free month trial and worked every day on it after work till late. Traced my ancestors back to royalty in England. Just call me princess Brenda lol.
@Un miembro de myHIVteam, you don't know where to start? You start with yourself silly! LOL, Then your parents, then grandparents LOL. If you use sites like Ancestry, My Heritage, or Family Search, they can give you clues or hints to the next generations before.
@Un miembro de myHIVteam, I understand. Even harder yet when names are spelled different and dates are different. For instance, my Grandma's maiden name was Stagnolia. Her dad (my great Grandpa) spelled it Stagnoli and his dad (my great, great grandpa spelled it Stagnali. Or someone may have a copy of a copy of a copy of a document and it may look like it says to them 1888 when it's actually 1880. As for searching for records in Sweden, I had a similar issue with my grandpa on my mom's side. I got back to his grandpa and hit a stone wall. I could not find anything more. Knowing they came from Slovakia, I just typed into a search bar "family records 1800 to 1870 (knowing when my grandpa's grandpa was born gave me the estimate dates of how far to check back). I found old Catholic records for free in Slovakia. With this information, I was finally able to find my grandpa's, grandpa's parents. Maybe you can find similar church records for free with a Sweden search.
I can only do half a tree. My paternal grandma was the only member of her family to survive the death camps. My Mom’s side of the family have an old large Bible with our family tree going back generations.
I did try to do
But it is very expensive
I called a professional agency
They can track far away
Following my las name
But it cost $$ so much
The only I know is the name and last name from my great grandparents,
And from my grandparents
From both sides
My mother and my father
I did the test
For the ancestry
And it say
I'm
Scottish, Latin American , and Chinese..
That's all I know...
