😷😷😷😷😷🇺🇲😷😷😷😷😷🌈🌈🌈🌈🤓❤️❤️❤️❤️🤪😷👨‍👩‍👧😷👨‍👩‍👧‍ 👦

My 1 job makes food for people to be able to eat. If we can't make the food, we can't ship it to the stores for people to get. We have had 2 people in the factory who had to quarantine because of possible covid exposure. One was because they were around someone who had it, the second person, her child's ENTIRE 2nd grade had to be quarantined because the teacher had covid, not to mention her in laws had it too!
Now at the University that I work at, I work in the cafeteria because the students need to eat as well. As of right this minute, according the University app, there are 503 positive cases on campus, which equals 3.23% of the entire campus population.

Not that I want to, but it has to be done to get the virus under control. Hospitals are beyond their capacity, nurses and doctors are burned out and dying themselves, and we are having to bring in health care workers from other countires to make up for lack of health care workers here. Hopefulky, the vaccine will be available soon, and although not everyone will get it right away, mitigating further spread of the vurus may be an inconvenience on my part, but serves a greater purpose than just me.

This COVID is sooo serious!! And way out of control! I actually tested positive my last week at the halfway house, 2 weeks ago.
Lucky for me, I only had very mild cold symptoms, that only lasted 2 days, so I didn't think it was COVID.... Until the health center called the halfway house and told them I was positive!
Scared the hell out of me! Sooo yeah.... Hunker down and shelter in place until we can get infections under control AND get a convenient & safe way to get the vaccine? YES PLEASE!! I'm grateful not to be hospitalized or dead. This thing is serious and we need to get serious about what we need to do to survive it.

@Un miembro de myHIVteam I think a lot of us are thinking the very same thing. And this virus is only going to keep happening and a lot more people are going to end up dying from this virus and this is because even though a vaccine is going to be coming out very soon with the first people to get the vaccine is going to be our doctors and nurses who are working on the front line and then by their guessing by April they will then be given to police officers and fireman who also be around someone who has the virus. But because a survey showed that 60% of people are already saying they will not take the vaccine. So by all those who do not take the vaccine, it is these people who are going to keep on spreading the virus so in all reality it is going to mean that stay at home orders are going to have to be put into place because of the refusal of people who think that with 50% of people getting the vaccine that this will kill the virus but that is far from the truth. We all must do whatever we have to do and force those who say they will not take the vaccine. Maybe we should have everyone who refuses to get the vaccine and force them into some island and they can not come back to main land unless they get the vaccine. Let those people kill each other by giving them the virus because that is what it is going to have to happen if we ever want to get back to some part of normal. To me I owe it to myself to get myself protected so that I am not spreading the virus onto others.

This will not be a popular opinion. I believe strongly that we need a more aggressive approach such as a shelter in place protocol provided the people are protected from foreclosures, evictions, cessation of utilities, etc. due to an inability to pay during the process and 3 months following. Also, struggling citizens should be provided stipends, grants, etc. for food, toiletries, etc.
