Do You Treat Yourself From Time To Time?
Hace poco salí y compré una bicicleta que llevaba deseando más de 5 años. La mayoría de mis gastos se destinan a otros y a cosas del día a día. Las vacaciones y demás son gastos que pospongo hasta que sé que todo lo demás y todos los demás, incluidos familiares y amigos... están bien. Me siento un poco culpable por esta reciente compra, ya que es bastante más de lo que gastaría en mí mismo... ¿Alguna idea? 🤔
Just recently I went out and bought a bike that I have been wanting for over 5 years. Most of my expenses go toward others and day-to-day things. Vacations and such are expenses that I put off until I know that everything else and everyone else including family and friends... are okay. I'm feeling a bit of guilt with this recent purchase as it is quite higher than I would spend on myself ... Any thoughts? 🤔
You have to remember that you love others by loving yourself first. I get the same way when I buy my roses, or get my pedicure done, but I have realized that if it makes me happy and I’ve taken care of others I’m allowed my treat as well. Enjoy your bike, it’s well deserved
I do if possible sometimes...I like it's a great feeling.
Of course!! I work too hard not to treat myself sometimes! And I have ZERO regrets!!😁😁

@Un miembro de myHIVteam I had the standard speec bicycle but there was a real Pugeot Racing bike at a local bike shop. I had a pt job and I loved the feeling of fresh air filling my lungs and cycling was my escape at sunrise.
Because of the wide open frozen lake I needed an all terrain as well.
Once in Vancouver, cycling was bike fitted with panniers and market shopping.
I sold the racing cycle after being asked by city police on my speed. ‘Well officer, the speedometer cable snapped at 60 so I assume by the blur of the pavement, about 70’ trying to brake gradually threw the rubber rear break pads.
Pre pandemic I used staff travel passes every 6 weeks to visit friends.
