I hope this message finds everyone well! ♥️ i was wondering if anyone here experienced HPV. although i have not been sexually active since before my diagnosis in 2020, i believe that i also contracted HPV around that time. I have noticed little bumps (similar to hpv) around my anal area. I have scheduled a doctors appointment for a check up but, unfortunately, i dont have much knowledge on this other than google searches. Any information would help! I love you all! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤍🤎

Ive experienced hpv when i got a pap smear years ago in 2018. N it returned in last years pap smear. Men and women can get it.
Good morning Justin and it's good to see you. I have some information for you but you may not like it but it is the truth. I contracted h p v as a child at the age of 16, ( I had them treated and removed back then). In today's world children get the HPV vaccine for that very reason because it's very contagious amongst them. Having said that they evolved around my genitals area and just recently I had to have them removed and let me tell you it's not a pleasant experience. For those in the genital area , they have to be surgically removed means cut out then sutured and then you have to be on very hard antibiotics for two weeks but there's no guarantee that they wontl come back. Unfortunately they do come back especially if you are sexually active. Having said that I helped a friend a long time ago when he went for surgery for some internal anal warts. Now that was excruciating for him and I suspect your doctor will ask you some very specific questions and he'll insert a camera or try to verify if there's more inside. Gay men do suffer from anal cancer and that can escalate from.hpv. Not to frighten you Justin, I think you understand that putting a remedy and talking to your doctor about these things does help. You can still have sex after they're gone but it may take two or three weeks after they have been removed. Much love my brother I hope this helps. It's good to see you.☺️
I do believe HPV is common in many gay men. Sometimes referred to as anal warts. I've had anal warts and hemorrhoids. My only concern was when they were inflamed or hurt. We are also susceptible to anal cancer. Get an anal pap smear every year. Ask for one today.
