A mis 38 años y con esto, estoy experimentando problemas digestivos, de órganos y una variedad de otros problemas que apuntan directamente a la toxicidad de TODOS los medicamentos contra el VIH que he tomado a lo largo de los años y los problemas de salud que eso provoca dificultan el diagnóstico para los médicos. y prolonga el sufrimiento y agota la calidad de vida. Este hecho "SIEMPRE" se pasa por alto cuando se habla de "envejecimiento y VIH", ¡¡¡SIEMPRE!!!

At 38+ yrs with this, I am experiencing digestive, organ, & an array of other problems that point directly to the toxicity of ALL the HIV meds I've had over the years & the health problems from just that makes diagnosis difficult for dr's & prolongs suffering & depletes quality of life. This fact is "ALWAYS" overlooked when talking about "aging & HIV", ALWAYS!!!

As we all know guidelines are to start ARV medication as soon as possible which gives you a close to normal life span. With that being said there are many long term survivors who were on toxic meds. such as protease inhibitors in the late 90s that were really not good. And many of these people had hiv for 5 to 10 years before there was protease inhibitors and they were on AZT which we can all agree was a failure.
