Hice algunos trabajos en mi propiedad. Los árboles de mezquite aquí se cargan de muérdago. Es un parásito que se propaga de árbol en árbol y, en última instancia, lo matará.

Not exactly an HIV related question, but there is a great deal of wisdom and life experience here, so I will give it a shot.
I had some work done on my property. The mesquite trees here get laden with mistletoe. It's a parasite that spreads tree to tree, and will ultimately kill the tree.
I needed 35 trees cut, which meant cut off sections of the tree with mistletoe. No attempt made to make the tree even, just cut it out.

Did you have a written contract. If not why should you pay added amount. Can they place a lien on your property

Habla con la empresa y explícale tu problema con el trabajo y las facturas. Hágales saber que le gustaría resolver el problema antes de tener que involucrar a un abogado. Primero diles que no pagarás la diferencia y mira a dónde te lleva eso, cuando tuve un problema como este nos encontramos en el medio y tuvimos que pagar la mitad. Si no puede resolverlo, pague o hable con un abogado.
Talk to the company and explain your issue with work and bills. Let them know you would like to resolve the before you have to have an attorney involved. First tell them you will not pay the difference, and see where that gets you, when I had an issue like this we met in the middle and had to pay half. If you can not resolve it, either pay or talk to an attorney.
