As a long termer diagnosed in the 80's watching my friends die left and right, and fearful I would be next, I always took solace knowing Larry was there fighting for our survival. I took part in some of his activism through ACT UP during the days Reagan would not acknowledge HIV/AIDS or give any funding because it was known only as a Gay Disease.
