Ernie, I think your feelings are valid. I have felt that way in the past but then I have to arrest that pattern of thinking and think how lucky I am not to be dead. My life isn't over and neither is yours. Everyone has an expiration date. We're all in the same boat.

My latest CD4 count was 224. The highest it has been was 365. I remain undetectable, and have been so for 5 years. What my ID doctor watches is the percentage of CD counts that are CD4. It stays stable around 23-25%.
Yeah my doctor talks more about my vital load. She says my viral load is what to be expected with HIV patience's. I'm still learning about this. Just over a month since being diagnosed.
