¿Alguien aquí tiene problemas dentales causados por los medicamentos? No tengo seguro y el programa Ryan White no cubre implantes.
¿Qué hacer?
Does anyone here has dental problems cause if you meds? I have no insurance and the Ryan white program does not cover implants.
What to do?
Wow... try to find dental programs that are affiliated with Ryan White.
I go through my dental with Avenue360 ...https://avenue360.org/about-2/ based out in Houston, TX and they have special programs for PLHIV and low income people. Check for similar healthcare providers & or organizations.
All the best 🤗😊!!!
Thank you great information
Check with dental schools. For example University of Colorado'dental school does implants and other dental services at a reduced cost. Implants are still expensive at about $2k per implant (single crown, bridges might be less), but that's better than the going rate of $4k/implant. (These prices are for the entire year to year and a half long process, including the crown.)
Implants are tough even with good insurance. The most I've seen someone cover is 60 or 70 at best. I"m just looking around for the future.
@Un miembro de myHIVteam, check out the links I posted above, you may get lucky with one of them for help.
