I would go on a blind date, you never know someone until you really get to interact with a person. I think it would be kind of fun too. Like a mystery.

I would meet someone but preferably in a public setting like at a coffee shop/restaurant but I have met up with others after only meeting through text and I went on a blind date years ago that turned out awful.

I am married but would definitely go on a blind date. I would make sure that trusted friends knew where I was and with whom the date was with. I would attend a casual venue (coffee shop, bookstore with desert/tea dining, etc. A public well-lit venue is the safest choice. You have to take a chance if you want to meet new people. No one is going to come knocking on your door saying, "I heard that you were looking to make new friends, meet new people, etc. for dating".
