God forgive me you will think I am stalking you. Best thing I have ever done. I can remember vividly the day I stopped cigarettes. Even thinking back on it, I still get the reaction that I am trying to cough up a lung. And it is going on 23 years since I stopped. Be encouraged it can be done. I did it cold turkey. I didn't know it but I was working myself sick on a cold damp autumn's day. I was driving home after working a 15 hour day doing polling. I had to pull the car over as I could not stop coughing. The next day I woke up sick as a dog and stayed that way for a few days. I grabbed a cigarette that last day, and could not stand the smell of it. Didn't even light it up. I will not lie and tell you that there was no withdrawal systems, there were. In reality I sometimes think I still am. BE Encouraged, It CAN BE DONE. Peace, Every Blessing to you Sebego.
Well it's something that I've been working on for the last year and that is removing all sugar from my diet. I don't use any added sugar in my coffee , teas and limit my juice but food is still a difficult task. With the HIV meds I must be careful with diabetes and high blood sugar counts and I've been really good lately with keeping it below the normal levels.
I should give up cigarettes
I would give up sweets. I have anemia due to my red blood cells coming out immature. So i crave sweets all the time. If i had to, id give up sugar.
