Has anyone ever been cured? If so how and what was needed?? How much does it cost?
¡En cuanto lo sentí al terminar mis relaciones sexuales el día de mi cumpleaños! En resumen, en dos semanas ya estaba tomando medicamentos. Tuve que pedir cita e ir al hospital. Me dolió la boca y la zona íntima. ¿Ha habido algún superviviente?
As soon as I felt it while finishing sexual relations ON MY BIRTHDAY!!! In so many words with in 2 weeks I was fully taking medicine. Had to make an appointment and go to the hospital. Mouth AND gentile/ private area. Has there being any survivors???

En este momento, la única cura es la muerte. En mi caso, llevo 40 años viviendo con VIH; no estoy curado, pero he logrado liberarme de la carga de vivir una vida plena. Tomo mi medicación a diario, trabajo a tiempo completo y he criado a tres hijos, incluso después de mi diagnóstico. At this time, the only cure is death. For me, I’ve been living with HIV for 40 years—not cured of it, but free from letting it stop me from living a full life. I take my meds daily, work full-time, and have raised three children, even after my diagnosis. Sadly, one of them passed away at 16 in a surfing accident, but my other two have given me nine healthy, happy grandchildren. Over these 40 years, I’ve overcome the challenges by staying focused on doing the right things, not letting HIV control or define me, and pursuing my goals. I’m considered a long-term HIV survivor—yes, a survivor!
On this platform, we’re all survivors in some way, whether newly diagnosed or long-term. Don’t let HIV instill fear or diminish you. Be your own biggest supporter—educate yourself, embrace it, and push it to the background of your life. Take your meds, see your doctors, keep up with bloodwork, stay engaged here, build your support network, and move forward with confidence because you’ve already conquered HIV.
