I am starting to get red to purple bruising on my skin. I have at least four of them and they are on my legs. I went and saw a doctor before but they told me that there is nothing they can do anything about it and that was almost a year ago.

Chest pains should always be taken very seriously, as they can be a sign of a life threatening emergency like a heart attack. The phlegm is also a little bit concerning, however is nowhere near as potentially serious as the chest pain. As someone with a very long medical history on both sides of the family of fatal heart attacks, I cannot stress enough that chest pain should NEVER be taken lightly.
