Es cierto que indetectable equivale a intransmisible, y que no puedes contraer el VIH.
PERO... siempre hay un PERO...
Si por alguna razón los medicamentos dejan de funcionar (y es raro que suceda) o si la persona no los toma según lo prescrito, o no los toma en absoluto, el VIH volverá y no lo sabrás hasta el próximo análisis de sangre, que podría ser dentro de tres meses, y PUEDES INFECTARTE.
Así que, teniendo esto en cuenta, sí, es seguro, pero aún existe un riesgo mínimo.
Sería aún mejor si también tomaras PrEP; entonces el riesgo sería mucho menor.
It is true that undetectable equals untransmittable, and you can not get HIV.
BUT... there is always a BUT...
If for whatever the meds quit working (and it's rare that they do) or if the person doesn't take their meds as prescribed, or doesn't take their meds at all, that HIV will come back and you wouldn't know it until the next blood lab that could be another 3 months away, and you CAN BECOME INFECTED.
So, with that in mind, yes it is safe, but there is still a very, teeny, tiny bit of risk.
It would work even better in your favor, if you took prep as well, then the risk would be even much lower than a very, teeny, tiny, bit.

Eso es exactamente lo que significa :) Mientras tu carga viral sea inferior a 200, se considera que tienes carga viral indetectable y no puedes transmitir el VIH por vía sexual.
Aun así, debes estar atento a otras ETS e ITS. Como les decimos a las personas que toman PrEP, las tasas de transmisión de otras enfermedades pueden ser elevadas en quienes solo se preocupan por evitar el VIH o el embarazo (mediante anticonceptivos).
That is exactly what it means :) as long as your viral load is under 200 you are considered virally suppressed and unable to transmit HIV via sex.
You do still need to be on the lookout for other STD & STI like we tell people on PrEP the rates of other transmissions can be elevated in people who are only paying attention to avoiding HIV or pregnancy (birth control).
