Do you think it’s time for the CDC and The national institute of health to refresh there terminology on HIV. It’s 2024 not 1983 and major advances have been made. My opinion on the matter is as followed: first retire the word AIDS it is a dirty word and causes stigma. From now on advanced HIV should be used. Does anyone have side effects from ART meds? Biktarvy specifically? Ive had the same side effects for a year, (since I started taking it) and Its to a point that I'm tired of them. My doctor keeps telling me most people dont have any side effects from it. Well, maybe I'm not most people. He won't switch me to a different med or nothing. I'm irritated with my doctor as well.
Anyone else have these problems?
