I’ve been reading a lot about the correlation between cd4 and cd8 ratio as an indicator of disease. Right now I have a low cd4 cd8 ratio. Some doctors don’t seem to care about the ratio while others say it can determine inflammation and possible other disease manifestations .my ratio might be low due to the fact my blood work was done before I became undectable. ¡¡¡He sido indetectable durante casi 6 meses pero nunca tuve un cd4 superior a 170 y fue entonces cuando tenía una carga viral de 500.000 !!! No es un error tipográfico. Técnicamente esto me ha mantenido en el diagnóstico de SIDA pero sin síntomas. Incluso mi médico de identidad está desconcertado, considerando que no he tenido síntomas en 1,5 años.
¿Alguien con carga viral similar y discrepancias de cd4?

I have been undetectable for nearly 6 months but never have had a cd4 above 170 and that was when I had a viral load of 500,000 !!! Not a typo. Technically this has kept me in the AIDS dx but zero symptoms. Even my ID doc is puzzled by it considering I have had zero symptoms in 1.5 years.
Anyone with similar viral load and cd4 discrepancies?

Hace poco estuve en un foro sobre VIH. Durante el grupo de discusión, estuve hablando con una señora que me dijo que es indetectable pero que tiene suerte de que su recuento de cd4 supere los 300. El mío ronda los 2000 y llegó a 2804.
Me pregunto si mi recuento de cd-4 fuera tan bajo si tendría mayores posibilidades de infectar a alguien aunque mi carga viral sea indetectable.
Sé que tendría un mayor riesgo de enfermarme si fuera bajo, pero ¿qué pasa con la transmisión?

I was recently at an HIV forum. During the discussion group, I was talking to a lady who told me she's undetectable but she's lucky to get her cd4 count above 300. Mine runs about 2000 and was up to 2804.
I'm wondering if my cd-4 count was that low if I would he a greater chance of infecting someone even though my viral load is undetectable.
I know that I would be at higher risk of getting sick if it was low but what about transmission?
