Una de las primeras cosas que me dijeron es que un diagnóstico de VIH/SIDA trae consigo una montaña rusa de altibajos, así que asegúrese de abrocharse el cinturón. One of the first things I was told is that an HIV / AIDs diagnosis brings with it a rollercoaster of ups and downs so make sure you buckle up. About two years into my diagnosis I can say this has definitely been the case, at least for me. How about yourself? Do any of you remember sage words of wisdom that rang true for you?

I mean HIV/AIDS isn't as bad as most people describe it,but how will they know if we HIV positive people are afraid of spreading the information.I feel if the world gets to see it as normal(how healthy we are despite living with the virus),I think that will leave them with nothing to 'finger-point' at😌

Estoy de acuerdo. La visibilidad es enemiga del estigma. Puedo vivir “fuera” sin preocupaciones, pero lamentablemente algunos no pueden.
I agree. Visibility is the enemy of stigma. I can live “out” without concerns, but unfortunately some can’t.
