Here is a question I posted over a year ago and would like to reshare with all the new people since then.
What are your thoughts on negative people specifically searching for positive people, to have unprotected sex and become positive? What do you tell people like this? Do you just ignore them?
Good evening everyone; I wouldn't want to pass on the HIV virus to anyone. No matter how eager and hot they were. I would not ignored them, because I feel it's a cry for help. I would explain to them how my life has changed since I became POZ. Any misconceived ideas, glamorized ideas of becoming POZ will soon disappear. If they have any common sense. For instance many of us use the cocktails first prescribed to us. Now pharmaceutical companies like Gilead, are being sued for having distributed their ART knowing that long term use would end in Chronic kidney failure or bone density loss. We're taking ART that down the road may have side effects of their own. There's no guarantee that the current ART will be totally harmless. I would open their eyes an let them know that they will have to have labs at least, every 3 months to ensure the ART is working. That their lives will never be the same again. That if before they suffered hate and discrimination for being Gay. Now they must face the stigma of being infected, and that the Gay community most likely will discriminate against them. I'll make a point of all the meds I must take daily to be alive. One final point I would drive home is that ART are very expensive, and that their insurance may not cover them 100%. They will be stuck with very steep co-pays. If after all is said and done, they still want the virus, I will refer them to a mental specialist. But under no circumstances I will have to bear in my conscience, having infected anyone when it can so easy be evaded. Hugs. Tony.

undectable = untransmitable
The evidence is in: If you are HIV+, take treatment and maintain an undetectable viral load, you can have sex knowing that you won’t pass HIV to your sex partner.
In short, when HIV is undetectable, it’s untransmittable.

So for those looking to have the virus transmitted...good luck.!?
I would avoid but it’s not necessary the diagnoses they need to worry about but the undiagnosed who aren’t on treatment
For me. I would rather date someone positive than someone not positive
@Un miembro de myHIVteam I think the ones looking for it just don't have a very good education on HIV or they would know this. They have a better chance of getting it from somebody that does NOT know their status and has it, than from somebody who DOES know they have it and are on treatment.
Si El 5 De Mayo Es El Cinco De Mayo, ¿no Debería Ser El 6 De Mayo Una Enfermedad De Mayo, Especialmente Si Sales De Fiesta Pidiendo Por Curiosidad?
Me Gustaría Conocer A Alguien Para Una Relación Seria.
