His response was “ I got it this afternoon, it didn’t hurt and I personally haven’t had any side effects.
Being that I’m not a doctor I couldn’t say about where someone’s CD4 count needs to be, but most physicians don’t give patients with a CD4 below 200 any kind of vaccines. It should be stated that every person regardless of their CD4 count should consult with their doctor before taking a vaccine, supplements or anything else.”

Thank you thank you thank you Rob you've answered many of my questions of which was how did you manage to receive the vaccine as I am still here in Illinois arguing with my hospital and the lack of inclusion for us in the HIV community with these vaccine trials and it's distribution. Moderna is the vaccine I am looking at so yes please keep me up to date about that second shot and kudos to you my friend God bless ♥️♥️♥️

I received my first dose of the Moderna vaccine this past Monday. My arm was sore at the injection site for a few days but that was really all I have experienced so far. I was quite tired that night, but I have been on the go with work and all. So that is not uncommon for me. Most of the research shows more side effects after the second shot. I will let you know how that goes in a few weeks.

While feeling a little under the weather after the vaccine is not fun, it does usually mean that it is working and the body is building anti-bodies.

I did have a conversation with my healthcare provider before getting the vaccine and they did indeed recommend that I get it. I am luck to be in the group of frontline workers in the first groups to receive the vaccine....I hope it becomes more readily available for everyone real soon!

I will share more as I go through the process!

Stay well!!
Rob

I received mine yesterday. Slept really good. Didn't grow any microchips. Didn't grow a third arm. A little sore in the arm but not as bad as my last tetanus shot. Feeling fine and ready for a workout. Hang in there y'all.
