I just went into another research program. It is open to the first one million people in the United States, whether you have HIV or not. You can be any age to do this research, from a few seconds old, to 58 novemdecillion years old. They are doing research for future medicine and medical purposes. They draw your blood and do DNA research on it

Yes, I agreed to do the DNA results as well. I figured if I'm going to do it, I'm doing all of it. From my understanding, the information you get, you can share with your doctor for better treatments as well.
I've been involved for a couple of years at this point. Interesting info, non intrusive and provides a large database of information for researchers. They are preparing to release DNA info if you have agreed to provide and receive it.
After visiting the All of Us website, I decided to sign up. Hell, I tested HIV positive at a time when doctors had to report your name to the CDC, so privacy was out the window. I’ve been on methadone nearly as long. Neither stopped me from becoming an RN. Both are ADA protected, although I had to go before the State Board of Nursing. I am concerned about privacy, but not phobic. Databases/AI may produce important breakthroughs. Establishing quality databases is crucial. I wonder how accurate all those files are on me(?) 🤠

I too have been doing this for the last 5 or so years. The information they supply has been insightful. We can even synch up our FitBits!!
