Are there services that the gay community gets, that the straight community doesn't? Is it harder for straight positive women to get services or needs that the gay community get easily? I haven't been positive for very long, but I haven't seen much difference. I'm straight but see most of the folks who are on here or that I know in DFW area who are positive are gay. Me, I don't care how someone got the disease or who they identify with. We're all in the same boat. All deserve dignity, humanity, and kindness.
We should help anyone no matter who they are.

Start by taking the shame out of HIV. I don't judge blood pressure and diabetes folks. Focus on health and where to get treatment.
