Yes it does. I had my medications with held in the Lane County Jail for four months even though I had to show the medical staff in the medical records that I had HIV and they still would not give me my medication even though it was approved medication for that gel they refused to give it to me.

Here in Florida all medical professionals and paraprofessionals have to sign the ADA disclosure and in my last training to renew and keep my license this discloser had to be signed and witnessed. I know that California and North Carolina have the same policy and the federal government also

How lucky you are. I wish it was that good in Georgia! When I was diagnosed in 1992, my doctor of 13 years refused to do my pap smear telling me "we dont have the things we need to do it here". I was mad because for 13 years that was where I had all my care and now she said that to me! I asked for a medical records release form, took All of my chart records and never darkened her door again.

That is a shame Xavier. I've heard of horror stories like that but I also think it depends on the state. There's some red states that are so buried in the sand about HIV that no matter what we do they will never like us. Here in Illinois where we are LGBT friendly and HIV friendly as in New York and California there are no stigmas when you enter doctor's office. they are rather hospitable and friendly and everyone knows what they're there for 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈💕❤️
