This is what Thanksgiving means to me! Everyone be BLESSED!

Congratulations on 19 years of sobriety

Helping others, whether it was opening my home to those who had no place to go(that is when I had my apartment) helping those who lost a loved one by being there for them or just being grateful for what I have. This is what Thanksgiving has come to mean to me.

.....this time of year is a chance for me to give back and say..thank you.....🤗.. even through the smallest of gestures like cooking a meal or baking cookies.

I spend time with family ignoring the lack of concern for my health. I gave up counting on them for support/concern many years ago. So, I attend to share the day and enjoy what comes of it. However, I don't hold back when saying what I'm grateful for. I express my thankfulness for every day of life. Quietly, I meditate on just how fortunate I've been to survive 37 years with HIV.
