¿Alguno de ustedes está en una relación donde una persona es positiva y la otra es negativa?

Are any of you in a relationship where one person is positive and the other one is negative?

My husband was negative. We were together 20 some years before he died due to cancer. It was always the first thing the doctors jumped to in the beginning... "Oh, we have to check him for HIV" I've been undetectable all that time and yes we were still safe.

I was married for 25 years when I found out I was positive. I was fully expecting my wife to leave me and actually wanted her to leave me, not because I didn’t love her, because I didn’t want to take any chance to infect her. She wouldn’t leave me and we celebrated our 30th anniversary last fall. We are very careful, I take my medications every day and we both get tested regularly. Since we are both in our 50s, and married for so long, our relationship is not based on sex. I know that if anything ever happened to her, I probably would date since my generation seems to be the most uninformed and prejudice about hiv.

For what it's worth, I've never been in any actual relationship and at my age with disability, I'm certain I never will. Men don't look at me and I've learned to be ok with that. However at this point, I wouldn't care what someone's status was. I would take almost anyone who wasn't a murderer or on a respirator. 😉

This is from International High Life... Technically speaking it might be six hours post inhalation for the THC to reach testable levels in your bloodstream, or it could take ten minutes. It depends on the person, the body, and cannabis history. For some exceptionally heavy smokers, THC might even stick around in detectable levels for a few days. Under most circumstances though, the casual smoker can expect that THC levels will drop after less than 24 hours.
