So according to that doctor those of us whose CD4 count is the normal range may be no more at risk then the rest of population for contracting and fighting it. But that assumes you are healthy in every other way. ( I’m not, I also have heart problems and other health issues so I’m still very concerned for myself ) The link to the full article is below.

Secondly although I think we should be cautiously optimistic that SOME HIV meds are being used to treat the coronavirus is clinical trails but to jump to the conclusion that you personally are immune from the getting it become you are taking antivirals medication is a HUGE jump in logic and should in no way make you stop from being cautious about getting it.
Keep washing your hands, social distancing etc.

I’m a bit apprehensive about the idea my HIV medicine may be able to to treat the coronavirus.
The supply of if it is not gigantic and how fast do you thing there supply will last when tens of thousands of people out there need it?
If they start using my HIV to treat The coronavirus they will run out in weeks with maybe months before I can get more.
So maybe we shouldn’t be wishing our meds can be used for coronavirus.

Jeff25 living with HIV you want to protect yourself from catching any type of medical condition. It's not your cd4 you should be concerned with it's your viral load. You are on retroviral meds which is a great defense, however you are at risk because of the other health problems and the area that you are in. My advice to you would be to prevent exposure to groups as much as possible and keep up the hand washing which we should be doing all the time anyways. If you are religious have lots of faith in God. Take care of yourself and ride out the storm like the rest of us. Good luck my friend

I believe that we fall into the danger group. Having a disease that allows dangerous pathegons to possibly attack us makes us susceptible. This however requires common sense meaning if you have a cold don't go out. If you have a CD4 count of less than 200 then stay isolated. Saying your hands, staying away from sick people and large groups and keeping safe will keep us alive.
