Here is a little history on history. When those marines raised that flag on Iwo Jima, what we see in that video is actually the 2nd time they raised that flag. They had raised it once before that. After they raised it the first time, the journalist wanted to capture that flag-raising on camera, So they took the flag back down, the reraised it on camera. I learned that from the History channel.
